Deborah Beaver has been working in the field of addiction medicine and treatment for fourteen years. She embraces a holistic approach to healing, and believes that integration of Body-Mind-Spirit facilitates the greatest potential for total well-being and recovery. Areas of focus and experience include: co-occurring disorders (trauma, depression, anxiety, and chemical/alcohol use disorder), individual, couples and family counseling, child play therapy, sand tray therapy, process/psycho-education groups, indigenous and inter-generational issues, guided meditation/hypnosis.
Her educational background includes California State University, Fullerton – Master of Science in Counseling, Bachelor of Science in Human Services and Addiction Studies, Muller College of Holistic Health Studies, San Diego. Breaking the cycle of addiction and trauma carried through family generations, and healing the wounds of our soul is the foundation of Deborah’s treatment and philosophy.
